Rev Ben Moore
Interim Pastor

Rev. Ben Moore is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He has pastored DOC churches in Virginia in the past sixteen years. He and his wife Tammy Tripp have been married twenty years and have an eleven-year-old son, Oliver. He grew up in the Roanoke Valley and was ordained at West Hampton Christian Church in 2009. Ben coaches’ youth basketball and soccer. His greatest role model is Fred Rogers from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

Rev. Moore earned his Master of Divinity degree and was ordained in 2009. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate studies at Elon University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies in 2002. Most recently, Rev. Moore served as pastor at Timberlake Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Lynchburg, Virginia
